Fil-Global Immigration Services Corporation successfully achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification:

Fil-Global Immigration Services Corporation (FGISC) has successfully achieved the certification of the Quality Management System under the new ISO Standard 9001:2015 for the provision of Recruitment and Deployment of Student Visa Services. The certification audit took place during the 30th of July 2021 and 1st of September 2021, were passed. The auditors from TUV SUD Philippines provided few proposals for system improvement and congratulated FGISC for a great job done adapting the Quality Management System to the new standard.

The work has been tough, challenging and FGISC started February 2021:

  • The changes required by the new Standard went quite deep into the existing company structure and processes. It emphasized concepts like the process approach, introduction of company strategy within the quality management system, the analysis of the company context as a key factor of the quality management system and promoted the use of risk management to be applied to all areas within the organization, in addition to a full Standard re-structuring.
  • The definitions were to some extent quite open and as far as new concepts were involved, there was no established means of compliance. A difficult year in 2021 is expected by the certification companies since many company in the Philippines are operationally and financially affected, due to pandemic
  • Over 6 struggling months of preparation, FGISC Quality and Business Development Department focused on accomplishing large scale standards including strong contributions in Customer Satisfaction/Acceptance, Documentation Accuracy, Management Plan during pandemic and the adaption of the Quality Management System. In addition during this difficult and stressful months, all these challenges were faced and solved with the assistance of an external consultancy support, QualitEx Management Consulting, by using only the resources given and including the provision of training to the internal auditors
  • And last but not least, all of the work and results concerning the new Quality Management System, records and procedures developed to comply with the new standard were praised by the auditors

The company is very proud of this success and in particular of all FGISC team members involved in achieving this excellent result as the very first Immigration Consultancy in the Philippines that achieves ISO 9001:2015 certification.

This is taken as further proof to the competence, efficiency, good practices and experience of all FGISC staff, showing how we are able to move forward from different restrictions, adapting to new standards or regulations and successfully achieving our goals.
